My Top Six From theBalm Cosmetics
Hi guys! Today I wanted to take a
second to talk to you guys about the top six favorite products that I have
tried from theBalm. If you do not already know, theBalm is a beauty brand that
is best known for their cosmetics but they also sell nail polish, skin care
products, and hair care products. You can find theBalm products at Nordstrom,
Kohls, Hautelook, and theBalm.com.
I first
purchased these products a few months ago when I saw one of my favorite youtubers,
LoeyLane bring the brand up in a haul video and let me tell you, it was so worth
it! I have LOVED every product that I have tried from theBalm, their eye shadow
is super buttery and pigmented, their lipstick smells amazing and goes on the
lips like a dream, and don’t get me started on their highlighters, they’re TO
DIE FOR.
Speaking
of highlighters, my number one Product from theBalm is their ‘Mary-Lou Manizer’
highlighter. This highlighter is a must have in your collection if you have
light to medium tone skin. ‘Mary-Lou Manizer’ gives you a great highlight with
just a little bit of product, looks natural over my very dry skin and stays all
day even without my Urban Decay ‘All Nighter’ spray. My only downside to this
product would be that like most highlighters, it is shimmery so you might not
be a fan of it if you are afraid of a little shimmer.
Next,
I have my eye shadow products from theBalm. Let me start by saying that I am in
love with the consistency of theBalm’s eye shadows’, especially their white
eye shadow, it is so creamy and buttery and not at all chalky like some
eye shadow can tend to be. First up, I have my ‘Meet Matt(e) Nude’ pallet. The ‘Meet
Matt(e) Nude’ pallet is theBalm’s nude matte eye shadow pallet. The main thing
that I love about this particular pallet is the amount of product that you get
out of it which I would say is almost triple the amount of product that you get
out of other eye shadow pallets from this brand. Just like all of the other
eye shadows’ from theBalm, this pallet is adorably packaged and they continue
the Matt theme on the inside of the packaging as well with eye shadows’ with
names such as Matt Johnson and Matt Garcia.
The third item in my top six from theBalm is my “Nude’tude’ pallet. Again, this pallet’s packaging is absolutely adorable, the outside features a sepia bedroom and makeup vanity and on the inside is six nude cartoon women with the actual eye shadow covering everything but their belly button, arms, face, and a small part of their legs. Just like with the ‘Meet Matt(e) Nude’ pallet, this eye shadow is awesome and I find myself reaching for it daily.
The fourth product in my top six is my ‘Nude Dude’ pallet once again, I am very impressed with the consistency of the eye shadow itself but and I love that a lot of the shadows are cooler toned because the majority of the nude eye shadow in my collection is warmer toned and it allows me to mix it up every now and then. The packaging of the ‘Nude Dude’ pallet is very similar the “Nude’tude’ pallet on the inside which makes sense because it is the second installment in theBalm’s Nude series. On the outside of the pallet, strangely enough features a pin-up woman with a light pink background. On the inside, there is as expected, nude dudes. This time, the nude dudes are wearing white towels around their waist and once again the shadows are covering their chest area and their waist area. Once again, I absolutely love theBalm’s eye shadows and would recommend them to anyone looking to expand their collection.

Next
up, I have my personal favorite shade theBalm’s blush, ‘Hot Mama’. Just like
the ‘Mary-Lou Manizer’ highlighter, the ‘Hot Mama’ blush is shimmery so if you
are eerie of shimmer, I would recommend staying away from this shade of blush.
This blush gives the cheeks a wonderful glowing quality when applied and it’s
deep pink/gold color is great for all seasons. Once again, this color is very
pigmented and goes, on very smoothly and is an absolute must have for your
collection.
Last but not least, my number six top product from theBalm is my lipstick in the shade ‘Foxxy Pout.’ This particular shade is deep red and has a slight gold shimmer to it. I personally love the smell of this brand of lipstick, it is has this eucalyptus smell to it that gives the lips a cooling affect. The down side to this lipstick is that it goes on to the lips a lot like a matte lipstick so it clings to any cracks or bumps on your lips. I would defiantly recommend exfoliating your lips before applying the product.
That
wraps up my top six products from theBalm. I hope that you guys found this
helpful. If you would like a further review on any of the products that I
mentioned above please leave me a comment with the product that you would like
me to review.
